On 24 March 2011, the AALS  UK Chapter held its first talk of the year, jointly with COMBAR.

This talk was given by the Honourable James Allsop, President of the New South Wales Court of Appeal.
 
The talk was a re-presentation of one which he had given in Australia last year and was entitled "Good Faith in Contract Law:  An Australian perspective"
 
His talk included a comparative study of these issues of good faith in other jurisdictions, as well as the position in Australia.
