The Anglo-Australasian Lawyers Society UK chapter (AALS) and the London Common Law and Commercial Bar Association (LCLCBA) co-hosted an event at Field Fisher Waterhouse on 12 May 2011. The Honourable Justice Margaret Beazley of the New South Wales Court of Appeal, gave an excellent talk on 'Loss of a chance'. The talk will be published in due course.

Christopher Jackson organised the evening as co-chair of the AALS, which was hosted by Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP and we were delighted to see over 50 attendees including Stephen Nathan QC and chair of the LCLCBA. A number of barristers (including QCs), solicitors from Australian law firms including Mallesons and Minter Ellison and in house counsel were also present.
